PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The general aim of the project is the exchange of experience, ideas and
teaching methods applied in the partner schools while working with
low-achievers ( year one )and high achievers (year two). Teachers are going to
use different methods and tasks that will bring visible results in improving
and enriching the work with these groups of students who need our special help
and attention. The main tool that helps to organise our programme is The Theory
of Multiple Intelligences which we are going to adapt to needs of our schools.
We would like to equalize the educational opportunities for students facing
difficulties in mastering the basic skills of school ( reading, writing,
numeracy) by organizing interesting and various activities. Our project will
support the teaching of learning strategies and organizational skills for
students and parents.
Our major goal is to increase the students’ self-confidence, ability to
recognize and deal with their own strengths and weaknesses, help them to
improve their relationship with peer groups and parents and decrease the level
of stress connected with school work and lack of self-esteem. All partners are
going to base on e-learning by publishing the materials on the project website
that will be accessible for students, teachers and parents.
Exchange visits are going to be a chance for all students to meet foreign
teachers and participate in their lessons, which will strengthen their
motivation to study ( especially foreign languages ) and encourage curiosity of
the world around them.
Parents are going to be another group to benefit from the project, as they will
be able to observe their children’s progress. They will be invited to
participate, observe, comment and they will be given more tools to help their
children at home.
